Insurance systems vary. Figuring out how to optimize reimbursement is important. Stone Circle helps you navigate your insurance company’s coverage and reimbursement systems.
How does payment happen?
When you work with Stone Circle, we make payment easy. You provide a credit card through our secure billing and electronic medical record system. We bill after each session and provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. A superbill lists your child’s diagnosis, the service provided, and the cost of that service. Stone Circle superbills direct insurance companies to pay parents directly.
How much will my insurance company cover?
Each insurance company is different. Some cover 100%. Some cover 80%. Many require that you meet a deductible first. It’s a good idea to call and ask what your insurance covers.
Stone Circle can provide you with the codes we will bill, so that you can ask you insurance company and get clear answers.
No question is too big or too small when it comes to your child.
One of our licensed speech-language pathologists can talk to you about your child’s current abilities, explain what’s typical, and offer guidance - even if it’s just to reassure you that development is on track. We love telling people they don’t need us!

We currently serve clients who live or play within 15-20 minutes of South Durham, North Carolina. Clients outside our radius are considered on a case-by-case basis with an additional travel fee.

Each 45-minute speech therapy or coaching session costs $175. If cost is a barrier to treatment, please email us.

No, you do not need a referral or a diagnosis to begin speech therapy or receive a speech and language evaluation.
